For the Love of Motherhood π
I am completely in love with being a Mommy. Lately, my heart has just been bursting with gratitude because this chapter of life brings so much pure happiness. I know that Jesus allowed me this beautiful gift, and I am so thankful for His guidance every single day. There is so much joy in the everyday moments, the tiny giggles, and the sweet bliss of raising our little ones. It is an absolute blessing!
What makes this season even more spectacular is getting to share it with the most incredible friends. Watching the women I love step into motherhood with so much grace, heart, and style is one of the truest joys of my life. I am so lucky to be surrounded by mothers who inspire me every day, and I love seeing how Jesus guides each of us uniquely on this journey.
My own journey took on an even deeper meaning when my son was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis. Navigating the world of special needs completely changes you, and stepping into the role of his protector has brought out a strength in me I never knew I had. But Jesus is so faithful, and through this, He opened up a whole new world of special needs moms I get to meet. The connection with these mothers runs incredibly deep - there is an instant, unspoken understanding of the unique joys, faith, and love that goes into advocating for our miracle babies.
That shared bond creates an instant connection among mothers, even when we don't know each other at all. Honestly, there is nothing more beautiful than the pure reassurance that comes from a fellow mom. When another mother - whether sheβs your closest girlfriend or a complete stranger you just crossed paths with at the park - tells you, "You are doing an absolute amazing job.β itβs heart-melting and very appreciated.
Motherhood has a beautiful way of making your heart grow bigger than you ever thought possible. I am so thankful for this sweet season, for the way the Lord directs our steps, and for the wonderful friends who make this journey a beautiful celebration daily.
