Wrapped in Grace: My Heart of Gratitude This Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Day! 🍁 I’ve been doing a little heart check—and honestly? My heart is so full. Not because everything in life is perfect (it never is), but because God’s covering over my life has been so real, so gentle, and so constant.
This year, I’ve been especially aware of how God protects, guides, and places His hand over me in ways I don’t always recognize in the moment. Sometimes His covering feels like closed doors that save me from wrong paths. Sometimes it looks like unexpected opportunities that nudge me forward. And many times, it’s the quiet peace He slips into my spirit when everything around me feels loud and uncertain. I don’t deserve it, yet He gives it—faithfully, patiently, lovingly. For that, I’m endlessly grateful.
Thankful for the Little Things
I’ve also been noticing how the “little things” aren’t really little at all.
The warm sunlight peeking through my curtains in the morning.
A cup of coffee that tastes just right.
A sweet text from a friend at the exact moment I needed encouragement.
A worship song that hits my heart in a brand-new way.
Even the random giggles at my own clumsy moments—yep, God’s in those too.
These tiny glimmers of joy are reminders that God is with me in every detail. He’s not just the God of miracles—He’s the God of my Monday mornings, my Target runs, and my quiet nights. And realizing that makes my gratitude feel deeper and more intentional.
Grateful, Humbled, and Expectant
I feel humbled when I think about how far God has carried me, how much He’s taught me, and how He keeps showing up in ways I never saw coming. His covering is not just protection—it’s reassurance. It’s love. It’s the gentle reminder that I am never walking through anything alone.
This Thanksgiving, my heart is just overflowing. I’m thankful for God’s covering, thankful for growth, thankful for peace, thankful for joy, and thankful for every “little” blessing that brightens my world.
May your Thanksgiving be filled with warmth, sweetness, and reminders of just how loved you are—by God and by the people He’s placed in your life.
Happy Thanksgiving, beautiful! 💗🦃✨
