And when he finally turned back, he didn’t come home confident. He came home rehearsing an apology, hoping maybe—just maybe—he could be accepted as a servant.

But the father did something unexpected.

He ran.

Before the apology.
Before the explanation.
Before the son could earn anything.

The father saw him from far away—which means he never stopped watching.

That’s God.
